the artist

alice is a passionate young artist, designer and illustrator with a unique visual language. she uses pattern and colour to bring new life to familiar landscapes, documenting areas she loves with her signature bold colour palette and mark making. after studying illustration at falmouth university, alice moved to london and worked as a print designer for high street retailers. based in walthamstow for some time, alice developed a collection of illustrations showcasing her favourite spots in walthamstow - paying particular attention to lloyd park throughout the seasons.

the story

this special piece was created a year after alice moved out of walthamstow – as she revisits one of her favourite places – lloyd park and the william morris gallery. you can feel alice’s fondness for this haven in the city as she recreates the view in layers of vivid colour – rich with pattern and texture. the greens of spring are popping and buds peeping out of their stems – getting ready for the warmer summer months to come.

the artwork

this artwork is a limited edition print of 50 by alice, measuring 24.6 x 17.9 cm. the artwork has been hand embellished making each edition unique. this artwork is sold mounted to fit a 30 x 40 cm frame.
