the story
for this series of unique artworks anna created multiple intricate wood engravings of trees across the borough of waltham forest – assembling them all differently in each edition.
she was inspired by the importance of trees and the rich history of them in our borough and epping forest – previously called the forest of essex. in this part of London we are lucky to be surrounded by this ancient woodland and anna is interested in conservation and protection. these artworks are love letters to these homes for our wildlife and guardians against flooding – these lungs of our cities.
