about the artist

clare halifax is a london-based artist who grew up in the south west of england. her intricate artworks demonstrate an incredibly skilful use of line and pattern, as well as her love for representation. clare is passionate about botanical art as well as cityscapes, architectural forms and animals. with a background in textile design, she carefully balances design, pattern and colour in each work to create a contemporary work which connects to a particular place, city, building or vignette of the natural world. 

about the artwork

this is one of clare's new original artworks. it is a completely unique piece, created using carat d’aches pastel pencils on 160 gsm paper.

the artwork is size 30.5 x 40.6 cm and is sold framed bespoke by floating and raising the artwork on a white mount within a contemporary white box frame. this framed artwork is glazed with low reflect uv filter glass and the framed size is 40 x 50 cm.

due to the artwork being framed, we recommend a courier delivery at an additional packaging & postage cost of £25. the artwork is free to pick up from our walthamstow snug.
