the story
‘since moving to london over 25 years ago, i have enjoyed visiting walthamstow reservoirs and wetlands many times. as a keen bird lover it's amazing to have one of europe’s largest urban wetland reserves on my doorstep. this piece was inspired by an outing in winter and i paid particular attention to capturing the unique different light and atmosphere of the location during this season.’
