matt's work represents mis-remembered memories of places he's visited. Instead of the physical representation of the place, he tries to capture the emotions of being there. though abstract in their nature, his memory scapes have the power to trigger memories of our own journeys near and far.

this artwork is inspired by those last moments as the sun starts disappears, and you let go of the day, filling you with the promise of the evening.
