working primarily with calligraphy inks, graphite and liquids, such as tea, brandy and vodka carne griffiths’ fascination with drawing focuses on the creation and manipulation of the drawn line. images explore human, geometric and floral forms, in a combination of both literal and abstract translation and in response to images and situations encountered in daily life.

about the artwork

"lion" is one of carne griffiths’ newest limited edition prints and is available in three sizes - 21 x 30 cm (mini), 35 x 50 cm (small) and 59 x 84 cm (extra large). each print has been printed on 310 gsm hahnemuhle german etching paper with torn paper edges and is hand-finished with 24ct gold leaf, iridescent and fluorescent acrylic ink detailing.

the print is sold unframed, framing available upon request.
