about the artist

hooksmith press creates limited edition print runs of posters which are hand-crafted using a combination of traditional wood type and metal type. the work reflects  a slower time and a love of typography and the written word, with inspiration being drawn from 30 +years of appreciating and collecting kiwiana and other ephemera, and the artists own rural, new zealand upbringing.

about the artwork

"fresh tea brewed here" is a signed letterpress print, printed on recycled paper stock. image size is 210 x 297 mm, made using the outline type from a single colour wood type font. the artwork is sold either unframed or framed in a contemporary slimline aluminium frame.

there is an additional postage charge of £5 for unframed and £9 for framed artwork.
