about the artist

hooksmith press creates limited edition print runs of posters which are hand-crafted using a combination of traditional wood type and metal type. the work reflects  a slower time and a love of typography and the written word, with inspiration being drawn from 30 +years of appreciating and collecting kiwiana and other ephemera, and the artists own rural, new zealand upbringing.

about the artwork

"suffer for your art" is a signed letterpress print, printed on recycled paper stock. image size is 210 x 297 mm, made using the outline type from a single colour wood type font. the artwork is sold unframed with framing available upon request.

delivery

if the print is in stock, we undertake to dispatch the print within 2 days of receiving your order and it will be sent via royal mail 1st class special delivery at an additional package & postage cost of £5. 

if the print is not in stock, please allow 5 - 7 days for printing it.
