the story

In ‘Tulipiere Vase Study’, Kate Mary revisits her recurring motif of tulips in bloom, drawing inspiration from the Dutch pottery that adorns her studio windowsill. Her delicate technique allows the soft, fleeting beauty of the tulips to come through, as she skilfully uses acrylic paint to create a serene atmosphere. The petals are surrounded by white space that softly illuminates them, evoking a sense of calm and quiet reflection.
