the artist
alice is a passionate young artist, designer and illustrator with a unique visual language. she uses pattern and colour to bring new life to familiar landscapes, documenting areas she loves with her signature bold colour palette and mark making. after studying illustration at falmouth university, alice moved to london and worked as a print designer for high street retailers. based in walthamstow for some time, alice developed a collection of illustrations showcasing her favourite spots in walthamstow - paying particular attention to lloyd park throughout the seasons.
the story
it’s summer and the echinacea is in full bloom in the gardens of lloyd park. this is one of alice’s favourite spots, where the warner flats sit neatly as a backdrop to the beautiful garden of the william morris gallery. their roofs peeping over the treetops and hedgerows like silent, stoic observers to the kaleidoscopic wild beauty of the flowering plants.

this artwork is an original painting by alice, measuring 17.5 x 25 cm. the piece is sold mounted and measures 27.7 x 35.4 cm. framing is available upon request.
