about the artist

elina ruka's photographic work centres upon examining the human relationship to the natural world, specifically water. through wide ranging material investigation she creates images that both reflect her own issues as well as evoke an emotional response on the part of the viewer. with her work, she is trying to understand what water is and also show water within a larger context of meaning.

about the artwork

"relativity" is a limited edition of 30 photographic print sized 28 x 21.5 cm. the artwork is sold either unframed or mounted and framed in a solid wood white frame, measuring 43 x 33 cm.
