the studio
underway studio is an illustration and printmaking collective based in brixton, south london. founded in 2015, the four members of underway studio work collaboratively on design projects using silk-screen print as a primary medium. print designs are passed between the collective until they are finalised and ready to be screen printed. as a result, the artworks have an impression from each artist creating a unique aesthetic . much of underway studio's work is influenced by architecture, form, texture and colour. Using physical print processes means their visual language is both playful and distinctive, incorporating photography, collage, drawing and embracing any happy accidents along the way.
the story
this limited edition screen print features artsnug’s home – the iconic grade II listed building in walthamstow. our eyes tilt upwards to the recognisable clock tower, adorned with its heraldic shields – laden with history of the borough of waltham forest. presented with a cacophony of shape and colour – you can feel the regeneration of this building, alive with the presence of new independent businesses. a buzzing metropolitan area enriched with creativity and flair.
the artwork
this is a limited edition of 50 screen print on 300gsm southbank smooth paper. it measures 42 x 59.4 cm and is available unframed or framed in a slim aluminium frame with a charcoal-oak veneer.
delivery
we undertake to dispatch the artwork within 3 working days of receiving the order. there is a postage and packaging cost of £12 for the unframed artwork and £20 for the framed artwork.
