the artist

originally from kent, rennie pilgrem lives and works in london. he is one of a growing breed of post-digital ‘freestyle’ artists whose work encompasses everything from film, photography, painting, illustration and sound.

the story

this variable collection of hand-created block prints is inspired by the lives of those on the water, living outside of the norm on the river Lea. under the shade of a tree, we watch these unique homes float past, traveling the waterways of London. this minimalist artwork captures a transient chapter of people’s lives as their story intersects with us here in e17, memories and experiences lost and found upon the water.

the artwork

this is a limited variable edition of 45 woodblock print. these editions are available in black and white, grey and black, and metallic gold and black. they are signed and numbered by the artist on the front and mounted to fit a 30 x 30 cm frame. as each print is done by hand the colour tone and surface may vary slightly, making it unique.

these editions are sold unframed or framed in a slim black aluminium frame measuring 31 x 31 cm.
