the artist

alice is a passionate young artist, designer and illustrator with a unique visual language. she uses pattern and colour to bring new life to familiar landscapes, documenting areas she loves with her signature bold colour palette and mark making. after studying illustration at falmouth university, alice moved to london and worked as a print designer for high street retailers. based in walthamstow for some time, alice developed a collection of illustrations showcasing her favourite spots in walthamstow - paying particular attention to lloyd park throughout the seasons.

the story

the childhood home of the inspirational william morris overlooks some beautiful and very well-tended gardens which burst into life each year, blooms lost and found again within the landscape. it was here that alice was drawn to the thistle like cynara, reminding her of the famous, intricate patterns created by william morris himself. in her signature style, she draws our attention to this parallel and ever-changing garden landscape of a beloved local park.
