about the artist

hooksmith press creates limited edition print runs of posters which are hand-crafted using a combination of traditional wood type and metal type. the work reflects  a slower time and a love of typography and the written word, with inspiration being drawn from 30 +years of appreciating and collecting kiwiana and other ephemera, and the artists own rural, new zealand upbringing.

"walthamstow" is a signed limited edition of 10 letterpress print, printed on recycled paper stock. the artwork is sold framed in a bespoke slimline matt black aluminium frame measuring 88.5 x 15 cm.

if the print is in stock, we undertake to dispatch the print within 2 days of receiving your order. there is a postage and packaging cost of £20 for this framed artwork. collection is free from the walthamstow snug.
