dan whiteson is a young portrait and figurative painter from london. he studied at central saint martins and now lives and works out of his studio in tottenham. he has a fascination for the human condition and more recently worked on the impact of the digital age on human physicality.

this is a limited edition A2 print of a pen on paper drawing, signed and numbered by the artist.

‘i really loved this pose in the class; emily is an actress and we really connected on a personal level, which always helps when you're working from life. naturally, she brought drama and emotion to her poses, and I loved the tension in the shoulders; the hands clasped around the neck in despair; or is it protection? i was drawn the horizontals of the arm and the lovely contrast with that to the sweeping curves of the torso and thigh.’ - dan whiteson

delivery
