about the artwork
this is a limited edition A2 print of a pen on paper drawing, signed and numbered by the artist.
‘pascal is a living schiele drawing. all long limbs and pointy joints, he is an absolute joy to draw and paint, and has been the inspiration for several of my works. his body just falls naturally into wonderful shapes and this pose was one of those; he was really just lounging on a stool but everything just worked; the contrast of the curved back with his angular hip. the elegance of his long legs and the raised heel. i kept the stool to a mere suggestion to add to the peculiarity of the composition.’ - dan whiteson
